Lesley and Gwen alongside Lesley's twin girls, Sarah Beth and Caroline, have always been in the family business side of things. From wedding planning and interior design, to their own brick and mortar store, Simply Southern, these ladies have always worked together!

 

Lesley and Gwen began doing weddings 30 years ago. It started off with florals and quickly morphed into Lesley by Design, a full wedding and event  coordination business. In their travels and many different venues, they discovered there was not one venue that checked ALL their boxes. It has always been a dream of theirs to own their own venue and offer their services in house. The Simmons House embodies all things timeless and southern, so when the home was to be placed for sale, Lesley and Gwen knew it would be the perfect location for their dream wedding venue. There is something special about a family owned and operated business and these 4 ladies are so excited for the opportunity to be a part of your special day! 

 

Their goal is to make the wedding planning process as seamless and all inclusive as possible. The Simmons House at Greenwood Triangle will offer in house rentals, accomodations, as well as a preferred vendor list to help customize your wedding experience.
